CH Vevey - Platform to the concrete skate park on Lake Geneva (Lac Leman)
The city of Vevey commissioned Vertical to add a platform with seating steps to the existing concrete skate park. Additional foundations were laid, on which the steel structure was mounted. The seating areas extend the rest area for users while allowing friends to watch.
In 2023, Vertical designed and built a new concrete skate park for the city of Vevey on the shores of the lake. The concept was developed in several design workshops with future users and the Riverside Association.
The skate park offers innovative and original obstacles in a very compact area of only 273 m2. It's a perfect mix of street and flow park. The location overlooking Lake Geneva is great.
On September 20, 2023, the park was officially inaugurated by the city council. For the inauguration ceremony, the city, in collaboration with the Riverside Association, organized a varied program with a skateboard show and a musical aperitif.
