F La Wantzenau - Concrete skatepark

The municipality of La Wantzenau commissioned Vertical in 2021 with a skatepark planning project. The design was developed in design workshops with the youth parliament, which supports the project. The skatepark, covering an area of 252 m2, includes a street area and a mini ramp. After the tender phase, the construction work was awarded to the construction company DEXS Skateparks. In the role of construction management, Vertical supervised the work and conducted weekly inspections. At the same time, Colas, the construction company, built an asphalt area for a multisport court. The skatepark was built in spring 2023, and the official inauguration of the park took place on Wednesday, July 5, 2023. The landscaping will be carried out later by the municipality.
