CH Kreuzlingen - Kreuzlingen creates a skate park with plenty of space

In September 2021, the city of Kreuzlingen ordered new mobile skateface modules. The newly asphalted skatepark is located directly on the shore of Lake Constance and offers generous space. On 10 and 11 November 2021, the new modules were installed: a Skate Plaza 4, a 6m Ship Style Rail with round tube, a four-metre wide Quarterpipe 950, a Granit Wheelie Table 200, and three kickers. The new modules were bolted to the asphalt floor so that the transition from the floor to the modules is as "smooth" as possible. More than ten years ago, the city of Kreuzlingen built a skate park at the Grossschifffahrtshafen. However, because the equipment there was often in the way and some of it was getting on in years, the city looked for an alternative location and found it south of the newly built FC Kreuzlingen dressing room building. Together with the open youth work, Vertical Technik AG defined the modules in a workshop with the young people. The modules now meet the needs of the users and are very popular in the new skate park. The opening of the skate park is planned for spring 2022.
