CH Münchenstein - Street Workout

On September 9, 2017 the municipality of Münchenstein's new street workout park, which is located at Pumpwerkstrasse in the Welschmatt quarter, was opened. The opening ceremony provided a lively program for its visitors. The local councilor Jeanne Locher performed the official handover.

Streetworkout is part of a healthy lifestyle. Due to the apparent popularity and heavy use of such facilities, the project for constructing a street workout park was already started at the beginning of 2016, in cooperation with the youth work.

On behalf of the municipality of Münchenstein, our company Vertical Technik AG planned and implemented this project.  The construction took place in our workshop in Frenkendorf BL, after which the on-site installation was possible in a matter of days.

We received positive feedback from the park's users during the opening ceremony. The facilities provide more training opportunities than elsewhere. The selection of colors and materials was highlighted as being very attractive. Generally, the project reflects a positive use of the facilities, which are free to use and located in an easily-accessible public area.
