This module serves as a drop-in momentum ramp, amongst other things. It's used to gain speed to roll towards a central module and perform tricks on it. It is also used for tricks on it's wall and on it's coping or it can be used to change your riding direction. The round transition to the ground allows the skater to maximize his speed.
