\nDas Sportzentrum Verney ist seit 40 Jahren mit seiner Eisbahn, Fu\u00dfball- und Tennispl\u00e4tzen sowie einer Leichtathletikbahn ein Sportpol. Seit 2014 befindet es sich im Wandel. Die Stadt Monthey hat im Fr\u00fchjahr 2023 die zweite Phase der Bauarbeiten gestartet, die etwa ein Jahr dauern und eine Investition von 9,3 Millionen erfordern wird. Der Standort wird einen Fahrrad-P\u00e4dagogikbereich, einen Verkehrs\u00fcbungsplatz, einen Sportentdeckungsbereich, einen Skatepark, eine Pumptrack-Strecke, Fu\u00dfball-, Streetbasketball- und Beachvolleyballpl\u00e4tze, ein Urban Training-Gel\u00e4nde sowie Bereiche f\u00fcr Geselligkeit und Wasserspiele umfassen. Vertical Technik tr\u00e4gt zum Projekt bei und wird einen Beton-Skatepark realisieren. \n
