Beauregard Skatepark in Fribourg: A comprehensive renovation for the local skate scene<\/strong><\/b><\/h4>\n

A lighthouse project by Vertical Technik AG in collaboration with the Public Domain association and the Fribourg skate community<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n

The Beauregard Skatepark in Fribourg (Fribourg)<\/strong><\/b> has been completely renovated and is now one of the most modern concrete skateparks<\/strong><\/b> in Switzerland.
Vertical Technik AG<\/strong><\/b>, a specialist in the planning and construction of skateparks<\/strong><\/b>, parkour parks<\/strong><\/b> and street workout facilities<\/strong><\/b>, realized the project together with the Public Domain<\/strong><\/b> association and the local skate community.<\/p>\n

Participatory planning \u2013 a skatepark for its users<\/h4>\n

From the beginning, the project team focused on a participatory approach.
Through workshops with local skaters, ideas and wishes were directly incorporated into the design.
The result is a skatepark that is optimally adapted to modern skateboarding<\/strong><\/b> and impresses with smooth lines, safety and a high level of riding comfort.<\/p>\n

Modern concrete design: Urban character for the Beauregard district<\/strong><\/b><\/h4>\n

The redesigned park combines a contemporary, urban design with high-quality concrete elements<\/strong><\/b>.
The most important innovations include:<\/p>\n

– a quarter<\/em> with several hips<\/p>\n

– a versatile pyramid<\/em><\/p>\n

– flowing lines for beginners and advanced skaters<\/p>\n

All concrete components were manufactured by Vertical Technik AG<\/strong><\/b> and installed on site \u2013 with precise transitions, optimal riding lines and safety standards in accordance with EN 14974<\/strong><\/b>.<\/p>\n

A lively meeting place for children, young people and families<\/strong><\/b><\/h4>\n

The initiative for the renovation came from the Public Domain<\/strong><\/b> association, whose president Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Nell has been actively supporting the Fribourg skate scene for years.
“We wanted to create a park that motivates young people to get back on their boards after winter,” explains Nell.<\/p>\n

Today, the Beauregard Skatepark is a popular meeting place for:<\/p>\n
