On February 11, 2014 Iouri Podladtchikov became the Olympic Champion in the snowboard halfpipe. Iouri prepared himself with an individual, “off-snow” training method, by riding a skateboard on a king-sized Halfpipe II of Vertical Technik AG and by training on a giant trampoline in his hall. The other Swiss halfpipe riders David Hablützel and Christian Haller also made it to the snowboard final.
The team at Vertical Technik AG is extremely pleased to find out the training on our halfpipe has contributed to the success of our Swiss athletes in Sochi. We congratulate the riders for their great achievement and wish them success in the future.
