Custom private street workout facility with a lake view in Lucerne
For a private client in Lucerne, we had the pleasure of planning and manufacturing a custom street workout facility with a lake view. The tailor-made construction makes optimal use of the available space and combines versatile training options for adults with selected play and movement opportunities for children.
The facility was precisely tailored to the client’s wishes, the spatial conditions, and the garden design. The result is a private outdoor gym that enables strength training, calisthenics, flexibility, and functional exercises right at home.
Versatile training station for the whole body
Although the street workout facility is compact, it offers numerous exercise possibilities:
- Dip bars for dips, support exercises, and functional upper body training
- Pull-up bar for pull-ups and other pulling exercises
- Low children’s horizontal bar
- Sliding pole, which can also be used for human flag exercises
- Low ladder for securing feet during floor, abdominal, and core exercises
- High ladder for handstand push-ups, stretching exercises, and attaching resistance bands
- Children’s swing as a playful addition to the family facility
This makes the private outdoor gym suitable for classic street workout and calisthenics as well as for strength, mobility, and stabilization training. Due to the different heights, adults and children can use the facility in a variety of ways.
EPDM fall protection surfacing for pleasant training
The seamless fall protection surfacing made of EPDM rubber creates a level and pleasant training surface. It visually enhances the area and provides a comfortable base for exercises close to the ground. At the same time, its subtle coloring blends very well into the surrounding architecture.
High-quality garden design with natural shade
The impressive surroundings were realized by Burri & Achermann Gartenbau AG. Natural stone walls, stairs, planting, and the careful placement of the training facility together form a harmonious, high-quality outdoor space.
