Train like in the Studio – Only Outdoors

The vGYM outdoor fitness equipment offers:

  • Individually adjustable weights from 5 to 120 kg
  • Maintenance-free stainless steel for year-round outdoor use
  • TÜV certification according to DIN EN 16630:2015-06E
  • CE marking in accordance with EU directives
  • Ergonomic design for natural movements
  • Training options for different age groups and fitness levels

Train where movement fits into life – in the park, on school grounds or right in your neighbourhood.

Individual strength training with adjustable weights

Unlike many classic outdoor fitness devices that work exclusively with your own body weight, vGYM equipment allows precise adjustment of training resistance.

This makes the system suitable for:

  • Beginners and older people who want to start with low resistance
  • People with different physical requirements
  • Advanced users and athletes who want to target specific muscle groups

The guided movement patterns follow natural anatomy and enable controlled, effective and joint-friendly training.

Full-body training in a compact space

With just seven vGYM machines, you can create a complete outdoor gym for the most important muscle groups.

Training includes, among other things:

  • Legs, back, core, chest, arms, and shoulders
  • Strength and muscular endurance
  • Coordination and motor skills
  • Functional movement patterns

The modular concept allows the facility to be configured individually—tailored to the location, target groups and available space.

RunVT – running training as part of the vGYM concept

For additional cardio, running and sprint training, a vGYM facility can be expanded with RunVT.

The innovative outdoor running machine works entirely without electricity and without a motor. Speed is determined solely by the user’s movement—from relaxed walking to an intense sprint.

RunVT offers:

  • Walking, running and sprint training without a power connection
  • Infinitely variable speed control through your own running pace
  • High-quality chrome steel rollers for smooth movement
  • Robust stainless-steel construction for outdoor use
  • Weatherproof, low-maintenance concept
  • Compact design for public sports and activity spaces

This way, RunVT complements vGYM’s classic strength training with a dynamic endurance component.

From warm-up to sprint intervals

RunVT is suitable for different training formats—from a relaxed warm-up to cardio sessions and intensive sprint training.

Because no motor sets the speed, the user always controls the pace. This creates an intuitive running feel without displays, programs or a power connection.

Combined with the vGYM strength machines, this creates a versatile training area for strength, endurance and functional fitness.

Frequently asked questions about vGYM outdoor fitness

What construction requirements does a vGYM facility need?

The requirements depend on the selected equipment combination and the location. Relevant factors include a suitable surface, the required foundations, safety zones, and sensible access to the training area. During planning, we take into account the requirements of EN 16630:2015-06E for permanently installed outdoor fitness equipment and tailor the execution to the specific project.

How much space does a vGYM outdoor fitness facility require?

There is no fixed minimum area, as vGYM can be configured modularly. Different solutions are possible, from individual training stations to a comprehensive outdoor fitness area. In addition to the equipment footprint, the necessary movement and safety spaces are also key.

Can an existing sports or leisure facility be expanded with vGYM?

Yes. vGYM can be planned as a standalone fitness facility or integrated into existing exercise, sports, or leisure areas. If sufficient space is available, a later expansion with additional training stations or a RunVT running machine can also be planned.

What checks and maintenance work are required for a vGYM facility?

Even robust outdoor fitness equipment should be checked regularly. Depending on use and location, visual and functional checks as well as periodic inspections are part of sustainable operation of the facility. Vertical Technik can also support operators with inspection, servicing, and maintenance.

Is vGYM suitable for publicly accessible, unsupervised locations?

vGYM is designed for use in public outdoor areas. Careful planning of the equipment layout, safety zones, accessibility, and user guidance helps ensure the facility can also be operated sensibly at freely accessible locations.

Can a vGYM facility be configured individually for a project?

Yes. Which equipment makes sense depends on what training options are to be created and how much space and budget are available. This allows the focus, for example, to be placed more on strength training, full-body training, or a combination with running and endurance training.
