CH Brig - national performance center

Vertical Technik AG developed a national performance center for young athletes for the Spiritus Sanctus College in Brig. The exterior of the former indoor swimming pool St. Ursula was renovated  according to the guidelines of the Swiss Heritage Society and the interior was adapted to fit the needs of the athletes. Vertical Technik AG was commissioned as a general contractor for the implementation of the planning, construction management and execution within only 3 months.

Starting from august 2018 the following systems will be available in the national performance center: a skateboard bowl with a hip, a big air with al anding airbag, a dry slope with rail and quarterpipe, two Eurotramp Grandmaster trampolines with wall walk and pit airbag, a five square trampoline, as well as a 20 m long air track, mobile parkour elements from Cube, a slackline, a treadmill with laser shooting equipment for Biathlon, a minitramp and a functional fitness zone.

The NLZ is not open to the students of the college and no public use is planned at the moment.

The Vertical Team would like to thank Nadine Tscherrig, Vice Rector of the Sports School, and Philipp Jordan, section head of investment, for the great cooperation and for placing their trust in Vertical for carrying out the project.

We wish the sports school great success in promoting talents. At the same time we hope that we are able to contribute to bringing the sporting elite of freestyle sports to a world-class level through our infrastructure.
