CH Le Mont-sur-Lausanne – Revision Beton Skatepark aus vorgefertigten Modulen

Professional renovation of an existing concrete skatepark for optimal safety and standards compliance

In 2025, the Municipality of Le Mont-sur-Lausanne commissioned an independent specialist firm to inspect the modular concrete skatepark originally built in 2012. The facility required a review, as it no longer met the EN 14974 standard for wheeled sports equipment. Years of intensive use had caused wear and damage that made professional refurbishment necessary. This skatepark was not supplied by Vertical Technik AG.

In July 2025, Vertical Technik AG carried out a detailed restoration. Damaged concrete modules were removed down to the reinforcement and professionally repaired. A loose rail was dismantled, re-embedded in fresh concrete, and securely fixed. The worn asphalt surface was ground down in critical areas, and depressions were filled with a special asphalt repair compound to improve ride quality.

In addition, the safety and information signage was redesigned according to the EN 14974 standard and the visual identity of the Municipality of Le Mont-sur-Lausanne, then printed and professionally installed.

The skatepark now fully complies with current safety standards and is open to all users. We wish all skaters lots of fun and sincerely thank the Municipality of Le Mont-sur-Lausanne for their trust.
